Salary Structure and Bonuses

Bonuses
Bonuses can be given for:

  • Passing exams
  • Doing good or excellent work over a period of time
  • Going the extra mile for the business
  • Achieving a special quality level
  • Suggesting good ideas for improvements
  • Being especially courteous with customers
  • Being flexible with work hours
  • Being there whenever or whatever

 

Bonuses or incentives do not necessarily have to be in money as they can be in a form of gift, that reflects or honours a special value in the person concerned:

  • Tickets to see their sport, team, special match, horse jumping
  • Tickets to see a concert, pop group, race, museum, show
  • Assistance with their hobby costs
  • Time off to see their child perform at school
  • Books, magazines or records
