Bonuses Bonuses can be given for: - Passing exams
- Doing good or excellent work over a period of time
- Going the extra mile for the business
- Achieving a special quality level
- Suggesting good ideas for improvements
- Being especially courteous with customers
- Being flexible with work hours
- Being there whenever or whatever
Bonuses or incentives do not necessarily have to be in money as they can be in a form of gift, that reflects or honours a special value in the person concerned: - Tickets to see their sport, team, special match, horse jumping
- Tickets to see a concert, pop group, race, museum, show
- Assistance with their hobby costs
- Time off to see their child perform at school
- Books, magazines or records
