– seen in the Sunday Times - it only seems that we have just got 3G phones at 1.4Mbps and masts under our belts and 4G is already here at 140Mbps. Due to be tested this year and with handsets on sale in 2011, it is supposed to give 100 times the speed ... read more here

of 3G and 50% faster than Virgin’s top end 100 Mbps (megabytes per second) which is the fastest yet available in the UK. Our Utility Warehouse is about 7Mbps. This brings us even closer to the “cloud” effect, when we will all have our software and files in a server somewhere on the planet and access it from our mobiles. Considered to be the start of green e space, it will do without fibre optics, copper cable and reliance on BT, which can only be a good thing. By the way mobile subscriptions estimates are set to pass 4 billion in 2009
