Hi This email from Marketing Derby came in this morning about signing a Downing Street Bombardier petition regarding the Change Track campaign... Personally I think we need to keep as many jobs in Derby as possible and anything that helps is worth doing. Regards
William Barron You will remember that we are supporting the Derby Evening Telegraph’s Change Track campaign. This follows the government’s announcement to award the £7.5bn Intercity Express contract to the Japanese-led Hitachi consortium, as opposed to the Derby-based Bombardier. We now think this decision has cost up to 5,000 UK jobs and are asking for reconsideration. We have now received approval for an online petition on the Downing Street website. We are hoping that you will consider signing the petition to help build support for the campaign by clicking on the link below.
