The Coaching Process

Coaching provides the structure, where the coach helps to generate the creation of the individual's own solutions. During this process the following occurs:

  • your mindset will change and idea generating skills grow
  • the ability to communicate with people improves
  • new skills are developed
  • motivation increases
  • self-confidence grows

The process has a place everywhere, from the boardroom down through all levels of management, carried out by professional coaches, who are able to think outside the company box and do not have company baggage,
How is Coaching carried out?

The time involved is about two hours a month, but varies according to circumstances. Sessions can be weekly or fortnightly lasting about 60 minutes for individual coaching or from half a day to two days for larger team workshops. The main beauty of Coaching is its flexibility. Each agenda is different, moulding itself to the present. Prior to or at each session, the client and coach decide upon the agenda, comprising:

  • review of goals from the previous session and what was learnt from the action taken
  • issues to be covered at this meeting
  • questions from the coach unlock solutions from the client, about these issues
  • new goals, dates and actions are agreed upon, at the end of each session.
